Project Aspiration Event [05/22/2010]Project Aspiration supports our national programs -"Go to High School - Go to College" and "From High Chair to Higher Education". On May 22nd 2010 - ZOL will be partnering with Wells Fargo and Powersports East in New Castle Delaware to expose 10th and 11th grade African American boys and girls from Chester, PA to the operations and management of a major motorcycle dealer of the following brands : Kawasaki, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki and ATVs. Support in the form of chaperones and transportation are needed to help these youths who march onward and upward towards the light. If due to scheduling conflicts you can not attend, financial offerings are welcomed to cover a van rental. Wells Fargo is contributing to lunch which will be at Brother Freeman's restaurant - Soul to Soul cafe in Middletown, Delaware. This will be a great opportunity to have a positive impact to a group of children that are striving to reach college despite great odds. please contact me daridgeway@comcast.net (click link below for details ) Details of the Project Aspiration Event on 5/22/2010 Agenda : 1) Pick up the children (10th / 11h graders from Chester, PA area ) in front of Crozer Keystone Community Hospital in Chester, PA @ 11:30am 2) Travel to Powersports East in New Castle, Delaware [ www.powersportseast.com ] @ 12:30pm - 2:30pm * Operational Tour of the facilities ( sales / service / parts / financing / marketing / advertising / product overview / customer service ) 3) Soul to Soul Cafe in Middletown , Delaware ( Brother Freeman's joint ) [ www.soultosoulcafe.com ] @ 3pm - 4:45pm * Q/A between brothers and the children while we dine on soul food cuisine * Wells Fargo is making a financial contribution for lunch 4) Depart for 5:30pm drop off at Mercy Hospital in Chester, PA @ 5:00pm I need support in the form of chaperones and / or vehicle transportation for 10-12 kids.
